Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue!

Something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue! is derived from the old English rhyme that says, “Something Olde, Something New, Something Borrowed, Something Blue, A Sixpence in your Shoe” which essentially stands for the four good-luck objects that the bride should include in her special day outfit or carry with her as she walks down the aisle. And what more auspicious can be for a bride other than her wedding ring or the engagement ring.

Weddings are a matter of enjoyment and what makes them more interesting and memorable than special custom engagement rings. Different people have different tastes and fondness while some look for old vintage style as their ring designs and have their parents or grandparents’ old wedding rings redesigned for their new-age wedding. Someone to keep the family tradition alive and bring back old memories few people also borrow the rings from mothers. The world fell in love with Princess Diana and with her passing they were heartbroken. When Prince William proposed to his lady love Princess Catherine with his late mother’s ring everyone along with Prince William kept the memories of Princess Diana alive. At Jewel Smith, one finds new designs or redesign old rings into new ones and make their wedding day more special.

A wedding can be both a private affair or a grand event depending upon the couple’s preference. And what makes the wedding more special other than the ring ceremony that binds the couple in eternity and makes them partners in sickness and health. One can thus, custom wedding rings according to their wish and make their special day more memorable and special. The wedding ring, which essentially is a simple, traditional yet modern ring band is worn by the couple almost every day of their life. It not only thus holds memories but at the same time signifies commitment.

The wedding ring can thus be old, or new and can be borrowed but for your partner, it will be more precious than life as it has memories and symbolizes the love and adoration that you have for your partner. It is thus one step closer to the path of eternity and forever. At the store, one can easily redesign the old wedding or any ring and make them ready for confessing their love. One can also redesign the old rings and make them ready for the modern-day love story.
